This Wireless Multi-Call Start Kit is designed to cater for multi-room environments, such as in hospitals and care homes. This mobility aid employs wireless technology, and the system can be quickly installed with minimal fuss.
Up to 999 call buttons, or pendants, may be added to the aid, each of which can be grouped into different zones and allocated a different alert. This allows the carer to track the call to a specific area of a room, or to identify a specific patient, which is important in the event of an emergency.
This Wireless Multi-Call Start Kit is supplied with various pieces of technology which are as follows:
- The Multi-Call Receiver offers more than a 200 metre (218 yards) range. Calls are displayed on the large, clear LED screen with optional voice announcements. With an inbuilt stand and wall mounting options, this unit is the ideal choice for a common room, or nurse’s station.
- The Multi-Call Watch is compact and light, so it can be worn by a carer throughout the day. With a 100 metre (109 yards) range, calls can be announced with sound, vibration, or both. The LCD matrix screen shows the call location, number of alerts and time of the alert. As a personalised solution, the watch shows the current time and date. When not in use, the watch can be conveniently recharged using USB.
This mobility aid kit also comes supplied with three different types of call buttons:
- The Multi-Call Fixed Button helps to provide a calling system at the bed, or chair side. Its large call button can be wall mounted with the supplied fixings to give a convenient call point, while the wired pendant can be placed close to the patient for easy access.
- The Multi-Call Waterproof Button provides cover in washrooms, showers, or other wet areas, where a person is often most vulnerable. It’s simple to mount using the supplied fixings. The button can also be removed from the bracket and kept close.
- The Multi-Call Wrist Button is ergonomically designed for everyday personal use, being light and comfortable to wear. The wide adjustment on the strap helps fit all wrist sizes and the clear SOS button is easy to press, yet firm enough to avoid false alarms.
